Terms of service
Last updated 2 November 2026
The short version
- Paddle sells Lexora as our reseller and Merchant of Record. The service itself comes from Lexora, run by a sole proprietor in Ukraine.
- What you put into Lexora and the articles it writes for you are yours. We use them only to run Lexora for you, never to train AI models.
- Read an article before you publish it: what goes live on your site is your decision and your responsibility.
- You can cancel any time, and your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for.
The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Lexora, run by a sole proprietor (individual entrepreneur) registered in Ukraine (“we”, “us”). They apply from the moment you create an account. If you use Lexora for a company, you accept them on its behalf and confirm that you may.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
If your Organization has signed a separate contract with us, such as an Enterprise agreement, that contract applies where the two differ.
Your account and Organization
- You must be at least 18 to use Lexora. An account is for one person: don’t share your sign-in, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
- Everything in Lexora belongs to an Organization. Its Owner manages its Members, settings and plan, and accepts these terms for it; each Member accepts them on joining. Everyone gets an Organization of their own when they sign up, and can belong to others.
- The work a Member does stays with the Organization after they leave it.
Plans, credits and payment
- A plan is paid monthly or yearly, in advance, and renews automatically until it’s cancelled. Prices are in US dollars on the pricing page; Paddle adds sales tax or VAT where it applies.
- Every AI action spends credits, and its price is shown before it starts. A plan’s credits arrive every month, on yearly plans too, and those you don’t use don’t carry over. Top-up credits last 12 months from purchase and can be spent only while the Organization has a plan.
- Credits have no cash value outside our refund policy. They can’t be sold or moved to another Organization.
- When a Run fails or stops responding because of Lexora, its credits come back automatically. A Run you stop yourself spends what it used, up to its price.
- The Owner pays for the plan. When ownership passes to another Member, the previous Owner’s card is removed and the new Owner adds their own.
- We’ll tell Owners at least 30 days before a new price applies to their next renewal.
Changing or cancelling a plan
- An upgrade starts at once: Paddle charges the difference for the rest of the period, and the extra credits arrive straight away.
- A cheaper plan starts when the current period ends, and the Organization’s seats and storage must fit it.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. The plan runs to the end of the period paid for and can be resumed until then.
- If a renewal payment fails, Paddle tries again and we tell the Owner. Lexora keeps working in the meantime; if the payment still doesn’t go through, the plan ends.
- When a plan ends, the Organization’s content stays for 12 months, and you can still open and download it; our privacy policy says how we warn the Owner before we delete the Organization.
- Refunds follow our refund policy.
Using Lexora fairly
Don’t use Lexora to:
- break the law, or help someone else break it;
- write content that defames or harasses people, promotes violence or hatred, or sexualises minors;
- deceive readers, for example with fake reviews or testimonials, by impersonating a real person or organisation, or with false health, financial or legal claims presented as fact;
- infringe someone else’s copyright, trademarks or privacy, including by uploading material you have no right to use;
- send spam;
- reach another Organization’s data, probe or break Lexora’s security, or overload it;
- get around its credits, limits or seats, for example by sharing one account between several people;
- copy, resell or rebuild Lexora, or read it by automated means other than the features we offer.
Lexora sends what you ask it to write to the AI providers named in our privacy policy, so their rules apply too: Anthropic’s Usage Policy and OpenAI’s Usage Policies.
Your content
- You keep every right you have in what you put into Lexora: Brands, Authors and their texts, Knowledge Base Documents, files, briefs and comments.
- You allow us to store, copy and process it, and to send it to the providers named in our privacy policy, only as far as we need to run Lexora for your Organization.
- We don’t use your content to train AI models, and under their business terms with us, our AI providers don’t either.
- You confirm that you have the right to upload what you upload, including other people’s texts and personal data.
What Lexora writes for you
- As between you and us, the articles, pictures and everything else Lexora makes for your Organization belong to you, and we transfer to you any rights we have in them.
- In some countries the law doesn’t protect text or pictures made with AI by copyright, and a similar request may produce similar text for someone else.
- Lexora researches, writes and checks each article, but it can still be wrong: a source misread, a fact out of date, a link that has since broken. Its Checks and Score are advice, not a guarantee.
- Read an article before you publish it. You decide what goes live and you’re responsible for it. Lexora doesn’t label articles as written with AI; whether you need to is for you to decide under the rules that apply to you.
Lexora itself
- Lexora, its software, design and name belong to us. These terms let you use it while your Organization has access, and give you no other rights in it.
- We work to keep Lexora available and to fix problems quickly, but we can’t promise it will never be interrupted.
- We keep improving Lexora and may change or remove features. If we remove one that’s part of what you pay for, we’ll tell the Owner at least 30 days before.
- If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.
Suspending and ending
- You can stop using Lexora at any time. The Owner can cancel the plan, or delete the Organization, which deletes all of its content and ends its plan at once.
- We may suspend or close an account or an Organization that breaks these terms seriously or repeatedly, that doesn’t pay, or where the law requires it. We’ll tell the Owner first and give them time to put things right, unless the breach is serious or the law doesn’t let us.
- If we close an Organization through no fault of its own, or stop offering Lexora, we’ll give at least 30 days’ notice and time to download its articles, and refund what was paid for the time left.
- What happens to your data afterwards is set out in our privacy policy.
Liability
- Lexora is provided as it is. Beyond what these terms say, we make no promises about it, including that an article will rank, sell or suit a particular purpose.
- Neither of us is liable to the other for lost profits, revenue, business or goodwill, or for indirect losses.
- Our total liability under these terms is limited to what your Organization paid for Lexora in the 12 months before the event that led to the claim.
- If you use Lexora for a business, you’ll cover our costs from claims others make over content you uploaded or published, or over your breaking these terms.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn’t allow to be limited, such as for fraud, or for death or injury caused by negligence, or your rights as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, and Ukraine’s courts decide disputes about them. If you’re a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law where you live and can bring a claim there.
Changes to these terms
We’ll email every Owner at least 30 days before a change that affects them takes effect, and update the date at the top of this page. If you don’t agree, you can cancel before then. Changes the law requires, and changes that only fix wording, may apply sooner.
